Swami Yogatmananda

Vedanta Society of Providence

Swami Yogatmananda is the Minister and President of the Vedanta Society of Providence. Born in India in 1953, he joined the Ramakrishna Order in 1976, received monastic vows in 1986, served for about twenty years at Ramakrishna Math, Nagpur, later headed the Ramakrishna Mission in Shillong, and came to the United States in 2001 to lead the Providence center.
