Swami Chetanananda is a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order and the Minister of the Vedanta Society of St. Louis and Kansas City. He has been associated with the Order since 1950, formally joined as a monk in 1960, was initiated by Swami Shankarananda, and is widely known for his many books and translations on Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and the direct disciples.
